Users & Access Control

The Correspondence App distinguishes between project team members and external contacts (clients) to ensure clear communication control and visibility.

Project Team Members

  • Users displayed in the top header are project team members
  • Team members have full visibility within the Correspondence App
  • They can:

External Contacts (Clients)

  • Contacts added through the Contacts feature are considered external users (clients)
  • Clients have limited visibility within the system
  • They can:
    • Only view communications where they are included in the To or Cc fields

This ensures that sensitive or internal communications remain restricted to the project team.

Approvals

  • The Approval feature is restricted to project team members only
  • External contacts (clients) are not included in the approver list

This maintains internal control over review and approval processes before communications are sent.
