Users & Access Control
The Correspondence App distinguishes between project team members and external contacts (clients) to ensure clear communication control and visibility.
Project Team Members
- Users displayed in the top header are project team members
- Team members have full visibility within the Correspondence App
- They can:
- View all communications
- Access sent emails, and threads
- Manage and update correspondence
External Contacts (Clients)
- Contacts added through the Contacts feature are considered external users (clients)
- Clients have limited visibility within the system
- They can:
- Only view communications where they are included in the To or Cc fields
This ensures that sensitive or internal communications remain restricted to the project team.
Approvals
- The Approval feature is restricted to project team members only
- External contacts (clients) are not included in the approver list
This maintains internal control over review and approval processes before communications are sent.
