Files
The Files tab provides a centralized location to store, manage, and access all project-related documents within the Correspondence App. It is directly connected to your Methvin workspace, ensuring that all files remain organised, accessible, and linked to project communications.
The system organizes your documents in the background. When you send a specific communication type (like a Construction RFI) with attachments, the app automatically routes a copy of those files into the corresponding folder. Uploaded dates and structured storage help maintain a clear record of project documents.
Accessing Files
Navigate to the Files tab from the main screen you will find,
- A folder structure linked to your Agile workspace
- Uploaded project files
Uploading Files
- Click on the files folder to start uploading.
- Click Upload File to add files from your device.
- Click New Directory to create folders to organise files
Quick actions
Use the three-dot menu ( ⋮ ) next to a file to,
- Rename
- Upload revision
- Open correspondence
- Move to
Using Files
Using files in Communications when attaching documents in a mail,
- Click attach file to upload files from your device , or
- Click import files from project to select files from folders or Agile workspace.
In-App Document Viewer
- Images and PDFs can be viewed directly within the app.
- Other file types aure available for download.
- Text documents are fully viewable in-app.
