Views
The View Modes feature allows you to change the visual appearance of your BIM model instantly.
These modes help you focus on edges, structure, or presentation visuals depending on what you’re reviewing.
Accessing View Modes
- Click the Views icon in the top toolbar.
- Use the dropdown menu for multiple display options.
- Click any view style to apply it immediately to the model.
Available Views
Default
Displays the model in its regular shaded appearance with textures and surfaces.

Wired
Shows only the edges and wireframe structure of the model.
Useful when inspecting geometry, mesh resolution, or hidden edges.

Shadowed Pen
Applies a sketch-like pen style with black outlines and shadows.
Ideal for concept presentations or detecting element separation without color noise.

Color Pen
Displays model surfaces with color fill + pen outlines.
Gives a drawn effect while still showing material colors.

Color Shadows
Adds color shading with soft shadows.
Useful when you want depth perception while keeping a simplified visual style.

Color Pen Shadows
A combination of,
- Pen outlines
- Color surfaces
- Shadowed depth
Great for creating presentation-ready visuals directly inside the BIM viewer — no need to export to external rendering tools.

Switching Between Modes
You can toggle between modes at any time without affecting the model.
This feature is visual only and does not modify your IFC file.
Tip
Using Sections + Views together gives you sketch-style 3D cutaway visuals — very useful for reports and client discussions.
