Copy From Master

The "Copy from Master" feature streamlines the development of the schedule of quantities (SoP) by enabling you to import measurements from any existing project into a new one. This feature eliminates the need to create new measurement items, formulas, and pricing worksheets from scratch, ensuring consistency and accelerating the project setup process.

Accessing the "Copy from Master" Feature

1. On the side panel of your workspace, find and click the "Copy from Master" button.
2. Clicking the "Copy from Master" button will open a new side panel next to the Bill of Quantities table, where you can manage and import items from previous projects.

Select any Previous Project as the Master

1. In the Copy from Master panel, click the Settings button located in the top right corner. This action will display a list of your existing projects.
2. Browse through the list of existing projects or search for a project in the search bar 
3. Double click on the project you want to import items from.
4. Once the project is opened, you'll see the list of available takeoff items. 

Importing items from the existing project

1. Once the project is opened, you'll see the available takeoff items.
2. To import these into your new project, simply drag and drop the desired items into the Bill of Quantities table.
3. Select multiple items to drag and drop into the Bill of Quantities table. 

You can make any necessary adjustments to the imported items, such as modifying measurement formulas to fit the new project’s requirements.

⚠️The takeoff elements themselves are not imported into the new plan.
