AI-Powered Correspondence Intelligence

Methvin AI helps project teams manage and review large volumes of project communication more efficiently.

In construction, correspondence is more than simple messaging. It can include RFIs, site instructions, contract notices, variation claims, meeting records, design clarifications, and approval requests.

The AI Assistant helps users search, summarise, review, and understand project communication within the context of the current project. For more information about the full AI framework, read the Secure AI for Construction white paper .

Accessing the AI Assistant in Correspondence

The AI Assistant can be opened directly from the Correspondence App.

1. Open your Correspondence project.
2. Go to the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Click the sparkle icon.
4. The AI Assistant panel will open on the right side of the workspace.
5. Type your question in the message box.
6. Click Send to submit your question.

The AI Assistant panel includes:

1. AI chat area – displays the assistant’s response.
2. Message input box – allows users to type project-related questions.
3. Send button – sends the question to the assistant.
4. New Chat – starts a fresh AI conversation.
5. Chat History – shows previous AI questions.
6. Clear All History – removes the saved chat history.

Example questions:

• Summarise the correspondence related to reinforcement congestion.
• Find RFIs connected to aluminium window shop drawings.
• Which open messages are marked as urgent or high priority?
• Draft a reply asking for clarification on the missing staircase detail.
