Assigned To

The person or company currently responsible for the next action on an RFI.

Audit Trail

The permanent record of every action taken on an RFI.

Ball-in-Court

The party that owes the next action; the application’s term for current ownership of an item.

Closed

An RFI status indicating the question is fully resolved.

Correspondence

Any communication captured within the application, including RFI replies and internal notes.

Dashboard

The home screen showing live project metrics and items requiring attention.

Draft

An RFI status indicating the item is saved but not yet sent.

Internal Note

A message visible only to a user’s own team.

Mention

Tagging a user with @ to draw their attention to a thread.

Open

An RFI status indicating the item has been sent and is awaiting a response.

Overdue

An RFI whose due date has passed without a response.

Reminder

A nudge sent to encourage a response.

Reopened

An RFI status indicating a previously closed item has been reactivated.

Response Pending

An RFI status indicating a reply has been received and is awaiting further action.

RFI

Request for Information — a formal question raised by one party to another.

Saved Filter

A stored combination of filter criteria for quick re-use.

Tag

A short label applied to an RFI to assist with filtering and reporting.

Withdrawn (custom status)

An RFI status indicating the item was cancelled by the originator.
