Quick-Start Guide
If you only have five minutes, this section covers the essentials of day-to-day use.
The Five Things to Know
- Your Dashboard is your starting point. Open it daily and scan the “Ball in My Court” widget first — these are the items waiting on you.
- Every RFI must have an owner. When you create an RFI you assign it to someone; when you reply you reassign it to the next responsible party.
- Replies are conversations, not new RFIs. Always reply within the existing thread to keep the full history together.
- Attach what supports the question. Drawings, specifications, and photos belong on the RFI itself, not in a separate email.
- Close items promptly. Once a question is fully answered, close the RFI so it does not continue to count against open metrics.
Your First Day Checklist
- Sign in and confirm your profile and notification preferences.
- Open your Dashboard and review the four widgets along the top row.
- Open one existing RFI to see how a thread is structured.
- Create a test RFI in a sandbox or training project (if available) to practise the workflow.
- Bookmark the URL of your project so you can return to it directly.
