7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Common Issues
Symptom | Likely Cause | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
Can’t click Next in the Compose Proposal Package wizard | A required field on the current step is empty. | Scroll back through the step and check for an empty required field — Next stays disabled until every one is filled in. |
Can’t click Send on a package | A required field on Step 1, such as Package Title or Tender Closing Date, is empty. | Go back to Step 1 using Previous and confirm all required fields are complete. |
Add to RFP is greyed out | No trades, companies, or contacts are ticked in the Trades panel. | Tick at least one recipient in the tree before clicking Add to RFP. |
A recipient isn’t listed in the Trades panel | The company or contact hasn’t been added to the project’s trade list yet. | Use Add Contact in the Trades panel to add them, or ask your project administrator to add the company. |
A file won’t attach in Step 3 | The file is still uploading, or the correspondence workspace folder hasn’t loaded. | Wait for the upload to complete, or refresh the folder browser before selecting the file again. |
A submittal requirement or document is missing from a sent package | It wasn’t ticked, or added as a custom question, before clicking Send in Step 4. | Add it on the Submission Criteria tab of the sent package, then send an addendum from RFT & Addenda so tenderers who already have the package know it’s changed. |
Can’t tell who has and hasn’t responded | Status and progress are being tracked outside the Recipients & Submissions tab. | Check the Status column and the Progress icons on Recipients & Submissions — Pending, Will Price, and a green checkmark cover the full lifecycle of a response. |
(Recipient) Submit button won’t respond | One or more items on Submission Criteria haven’t been answered yet. | Open Submission Criteria and make sure every Submittal Requirement and Requested Document has a Yes, No, or N/A answer. |
7.2 Getting Further Help
If you cannot resolve an issue using this guide, contact your project administrator first — many issues are project-configuration related, such as a missing trade or contact, and can be resolved quickly. For application errors or behaviour that doesn’t match this guide, contact support through the help link in the application or via your organisation’s support process.
