Correspondence Features

Threaded Conversations

All communication on an RFI lives in one thread, in chronological order, with the full history preserved. Replies cannot accidentally start a new thread, and there is no risk of the conversation fragmenting across multiple emails or attachments.

Internal vs External Messages

Internal notes are visible only to your own team and are useful for coordinating an answer before sending it externally. They are clearly marked in the thread to prevent any confusion.

External messages are visible to all parties on the RFI and form the official record of communication.

⚠️ Important

Always double-check whether you are sending an internal note or an external message before clicking Send. The two are visually distinct in the compose area, but it is worth a moment’s attention — particularly when the content is sensitive.

Mentions

Use the @ symbol to mention another user inside any message. The mentioned user receives a direct notification and the mention is highlighted in the thread, making it easy to draw a specific person’s attention without changing ownership.
